Day 1: September 19
Departure from Charleston, SC to Shannon
Your Irish Tea Party begins the moment you board your flight with Continental Airlines.
Day 2: September 20 Bunratty
Assistance on arrival at Shannon airport. Drive south to Limerick for an orientation city tour. Continue to Adare which is snuggled in a wooded setting and widely regarded as being Ireland prettiest and most picturesque village. Onto Bunratty, a village synonymous with Bunratty Castle and Bunratty Folk Park. In the afternoon check-in at Bunratty Castle Hotel. Dinner at hotel.
Day 3: September 21 Galway Area
Travel to Galway, Ireland’s Cultural Heart along the Atlantic coast. Enroute enjoy the famous Cliffs of Moher which soar hundreds of feet above the Atlantic as well as the scenic beauty of the Burren. Stop for lunch at a tea room. Visit Galway before checking in at Connemara Coast Hotel for 2 nights.
Day 4: September 22 Galway Area
Full day excursion to Aran Islands that you reach by ferry. Explore Inis Mor island, its archeological sites and unique way of life. Evening tea and dinner at hotel.
Day 5: September 23 Dublin
Departure for Connemara, one of the most scenic regions in Ireland. Your visit includes a stop at Kylemore Abbey and lunch at local tea room. Check-in at Hotel Merrion for 2 nights as you arrive in Dublin in the evening.
Day 6: September 24 Dublin
Morning city tour rich in literary history. Stop at St Patrick Cathedral and at Trinity College where you will see the Book of Kell. Afternoon at leisure to explore this charming city on your own.
Day 7: September 25 Departure
Transfer to Dublin Airport for your return flight home to Charleston, SC with great memories to share with family and friends.
